Great Weather

And by "great weather", I mean weather that is dynamic, changes almost daily, and isn't an endless inversion fog pattern.

An inch of snow on the deck currently. More snow moves in later tomorrow, perhaps as much as 6 to 12 inches. Follow that up with warming west winds and heavy rain on Sunday and Monday. This is good stuff, except for the distinct possibility of major flooding...

  1. Snowing in Parkdale. 17 inches on the ground as of 11-30 and it's snowing now with another 10 inches expected in the next 24 hours before the big winds and heavy rain begin. This could be an epic event - with high winds coming - warm temps - a lot of rain on top of a substantial snow base. A big flood or glacial outburst is a real possibility again. Prepare for power outages.

  2. Thanks for the update. I knew there was more snow in the upper valley than down here in the big city, but 17 inches is a whole lot more.
